Review by hotel critic
As an avid traveler, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Maltster's House in Ludlow, Shropshire. This characterful house is located just a stone's throw away from the quirky independent shops and fascinating castle in the town center. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely bottle of wine, setting the tone for a delightful stay. the house itself was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and plenty of living space to relax in. the kitchen was well-equipped, perfect for preparing meals for our group of eight. One of the highlights of the property was the beautiful garden, complete with a BBQ where we enjoyed alfresco dining. Despite not having ensuites in the bedrooms, the two bathrooms were spacious and modern, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location of the Maltster's House was ideal, with plenty of activities within walking distance and stunning views of Wigmore Castle just a short drive away. Whether you're a family looking for a relaxing retreat or a group of friends seeking adventure, this holiday home is the perfect choice. From the picturesque setting to the charming decor, it truly felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to explore the beauty of Ludlow and the surrounding Shropshire region.
